By downloading, installing, or using the Skiltmester mobile application (also known as “Skyltproffset” in Swedish and “Skiltehaken” in Danish) (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Skiltmester is a mobile application designed to help users learn and master Norwegian traffic signs through interactive quizzes, progress tracking, and educational content. The app is intended for educational purposes including driver’s license preparation and traffic safety knowledge enhancement.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Use the educational content responsibly and not as a substitute for official driver training
  • Provide accurate and complete information when required
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Not redistribute or share premium content with non-subscribers

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

Free Version

The App offers a free version with limited features including basic quiz functionality and progress tracking.

Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions unlock additional features including:

  • Unlimited quiz questions

Subscription options include:

  • Weekly subscription
  • Monthly subscription
  • Yearly subscription
  • Lifetime purchase

Payment and Billing

  • Subscriptions are charged to your iTunes Account
  • Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in Account Settings after purchase
  • No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period

5. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the App. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AviMedia Erlend Våge and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Traffic sign images and descriptions are based on official Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Vegvesenet) materials and are used for educational purposes.

7. Educational Content Disclaimer

Learning Tool Only

Skiltmester is designed as an educational tool to supplement your traffic sign knowledge. It is not a substitute for:

  • Official driver education courses
  • Professional driving instruction
  • Official driving theory tests
  • Current traffic regulations and laws

Accuracy of Content

While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date content based on official sources from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Vegvesenet), traffic regulations and sign designs may change. Users should:

  • Verify information with official sources
  • Consult current traffic regulations
  • Seek professional driving instruction when preparing for driver’s tests

No Guarantee of Test Results

Use of this App does not guarantee success in official driving theory tests or examinations.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL APPTASTIC OR AVIMEDIA ERLEND VÅGE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Traffic Safety Disclaimer

This App is for educational purposes only. When driving or operating a vehicle:

  • Do not use the App while driving
