Nynne is a music box in your pocket.

Press play and the room fills with calm lullabies and soft sounds, and when the timer runs out, everything fades away on its own.

Nynne is free on iPhone and iPad, with no ads, no subscription and no account. More music and sounds are optional one-time purchases. The app is in English, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, German and French.

Key Features

  • Two tracks, together or on their own - Music and Sound each have their own switch, and the sound can keep going after the music has faded
  • Lullabies with a real sound - 50 melodies, from classic lullabies, Nordic songs and nursery songs to Brahms, Grieg and Satie, played with ten real sampled instruments
  • Sounds and soundscapes - White, pink and brown noise, rain, ocean waves, heartbeat, womb, shh, fan and more. Mix two sounds and save your own soundscape
  • Modes for the whole day - Sleep, Calm Down, Nap Time, Night Waking, Comfort, Feeding, Activity and On the Go set the timer, fade, sound and playlist in one tap
  • Nursery songs for the daytime - The Activity mode plays songs such as The Wheels on the Bus and Old MacDonald Had a Farm on marimba and vibes, for play, dancing and moving about
  • Familiar voices - Mum, dad, grandparents and siblings can hum or sing their own lullaby, which plays in a loop with the same timer and gentle fades. Share them with your family over iCloud, so they can listen and record their own, even if they live far away
  • Made for dark rooms - Night and day themes, gentle fades on every start and stop, an in-app volume limit, a one-tap screen lock and Lock Screen controls

Free to Use

Every feature is included in the free version, with eleven melodies, the Music Box and Harp instruments, white noise and one recording of your own. There are three one-time purchases: the Music Pack with every melody and instrument, the Sound Pack with every sound, and Everything with all content and unlimited recordings. Purchases are shared through Family Sharing. Sharing recordings with your family is free for everyone, and recordings that others make don’t count towards your free recordings.
